Licensing
From Digital Foundations
Digital Foundations: Introduction to Media Design will be published by Peachpit's New Riders/AIGA press in August 2008 under a CC+ BY-NC license. The CC+ BY-NC license allows for anyone to use and build on the material for non-commercial uses. If you would like to use the material you build commercially, you may contact us to discuss licensing.
Some examples of fruitful licensing approach that we have thought about:
- Port the book to GIMP and other OS applications
- Port the book to a visual programming language -- Processing for example
- Translate the book to a language that the book has not yet been translated to
